- Hummmm! That's it, I've finished all that I wanted to show on this number...
- PIP, PIP, PIP, Damn a message!!!, What the hell is going on? How can I operate such a small thing.
Half an hour later:
- That's trying to be awkward. There's no BASIC, or MSX-DOS or something alike.
Two days later:
- Ok I've managed to fix it! It reads “Please, do the Bomb Jack's revision, I can't. JULIO”. Aaaaargh, How dare you! Well, let's go...
One week later:
- Die you bastard, hahaha, that Rune Master 3 from Julio is really amusing... I think that I'm forgetting something...
A few days later, late in the morning:
- Time to switch on my MSX and play just a bit to that game I bought on the last meeting. This one looks good: BOMB JACK. AHHHGGGG, this is the game I should have done a revision some days ago as Julio asked me. As soon as he comes for the revision, he is going to plug my ass to..... Don't panic, there's still time.
BOMB JACK, was one of the games that could be bought last Barcelona meeting (I say last 'cos I dont remember exactly the number). It is based upon an arcade machine from the mid's 80.

The game itself consists on picking up bombs. You have to avoid the enemies while collecting them in the correct order (if possible, that way you can get extra points).
If you are slow-witted like me, just collect them as you can, and don't forget to say thanks to the enemies for not killing you. You can guess how often it happens.... But don't worry there're some capsules with a “P” written that can transform your enemies to fried chips (or something like that), and then you can kill'em without trouble.
Once you reach certain amount of points there is also some bonus, extra lives, and something I'm not going to tell you (basically because I haven't discovered it yet).

Graphically it is almost perfect, just like the arcade and it has a very smooth movement. Music and sound are good, and they are just PSG, so you don't need extra hardware. There are 80 stages, but I can't manage to go further than the 5th one...

It is very well presented on a 3,5“ plastic box. The cover is full color and the instructions are just in English (hope that better than mine). The disk is also decorated and it looks very professional, in fact I think that many games would like to look like this one. In conclusion, it is a good new game that can be yours for just 15 bugs, I think.
Here you have the “Creature's parents”:
